It's your second week on the job and already you've been given your own desk. All your trademark boundless energy and enthusiastic work ethic are finally paying off, you note with satisfaction. Not to mention all that bridled creativity. "It's just a matter of time," you shout to the water cooler.
Back at your desk the Boss peers over your spacious cubicle, empty coffee cup extended. You rummage in your purse looking for change until you realize he's not collecting for the company picnic.
Nor is the cup empty. This is not a good sign. Neither is his greeting.
"Mary, you've been doing such a terrific job that I want you to take charge of the Rattler."
